A mandatory step for every qualified certificate. As an official Certum partner, we carry out identity verification — whether you purchase the certificate from us or directly through the Certum website.
A qualified certificate — whether a signature or an electronic seal — carries the same legal weight as a handwritten signature. Under the eIDAS regulation and Polish legislation on trust services, the identity of the applicant must be unambiguously verified before the certificate is issued.
As an official Certum partner, we are authorised to carry out identity verification. You can use our service in two situations:
Verification is required for every new certificate and upon renewal.
Choose the option that suits you best
Identity verification takes place via a video call through the Certum system. You don't need to go anywhere — all you need is a computer or phone with a camera and a valid identity document.
You contact us — we agree on the details and send you the link to the Certum verification system
You log in to the system and start a video call with a Certum operator
During the call (approx. 10–15 min) you present your national ID card or passport
After successful verification, the certificate is issued — usually the same day
We come to you — at your home or office — within Kraków and surrounding area (up to 50 km). We carry out the verification on-site, regardless of whether you purchased the certificate from us or directly on certum.pl.
You book a convenient time and location by phone or email
We come to you — and carry out the identity verification on-site
You present a valid identity document — the whole procedure takes around 15 minutes
The certificate is activated — we also help with installation and configuration
Depending on the type of certificate
That's all. For video verification, you also need a computer or phone with a camera.
We help you gather the documents and guide the company representative through the entire verification process.
In most cases, the entire process — from order through verification to a ready certificate — takes 1 business day. With video verification it can be even faster. With in-person verification, we issue and configure the certificate on the spot during our visit.
Yes. After contacting us, we discuss together which method is more convenient for you. Video verification is faster and available around the clock, while an in-person visit is ideal if you want someone to guide you through every step.
Yes, identity verification is required for every new certificate — including renewals. This is a legal requirement under the eIDAS regulation.
A valid identity document is required for verification. A passport can be used instead of a national ID card. If you are unsure about the validity of your document — call us and we will advise you before booking the appointment.
Yes. Video verification is conducted directly by a Certum operator — a qualified trust service provider supervised by the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs. The process is encrypted and fully compliant with eIDAS requirements.
Call or write to us — we'll choose the method and book a time.
